Two of Ukraine's major electronic merchants, Techno zhak and Stylus, now accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as forms of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers may now use Bitcoin to make purchases from each retailer's online sites or from any of their combined 100+ physical outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report from the Ukrainian website Obozrevatel, WhitePay, a cryptocurrency point-of-sale service, would enable Bitcoin payments at both businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers may use an acquiring form to pay with cryptocurrencies\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> while making purchases online. When a customer makes a purchase in person, WhitePay's point of sale system prints a QR code on the receipt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The receipt contains information on the transaction's kind, network, commissions paid, exchange rate, and time frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WhitePay is a part of the ecosystem of WhiteBIT, which operates Europe's biggest cryptocurrency exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both businesses will be able to accept 130 different cryptocurrencies via WhiteBIT, with more to follow in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation, according to Whitepay CEO Gleb Udovichenko, is preparing Ukraine for the market for digital assets<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUkraine is not the first year in the lead in terms of the number of cryptocurrency owners in the world and the volume of transactions,\u201d he explained. \u201cWe provide buyers with more options for using their cryptocurrency assets.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, since Russia invaded Ukraine, the use of cryptocurrencies has increased in that country. The Vice Prime Minister of the nation raised more than $100 million in support for their cause by requesting bitcoin contributions from people all around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These contributions were “vital” in assisting the Ukrainian military effort, according to the deputy minister of digital transformation for Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
