According to a statement released on Wednesday, FTX US, the US-regulated division of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has established an exclusive agreement with leading video game retailer GameStop Corp (NYSE: GME).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the crypto winter, FTX and its US affiliate\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> have been expanding aggressively, and this represents another step in gaining a foothold in the US digital assets sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GameStop's official exchange partner is FTX US.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the press release, the alliance will enable GameStop to give its customers more information about cryptocurrencies and other solutions found inside the ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GameStop's<\/a> only cryptocurrency exchange partner in the US is FTX US in order to further this objective. On the other side, FTX US prefers GameStop as a retail gaming partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When discussing the collaboration and what it means for both businesses, FTX US President Brett Harrison noted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt FTX US, we prioritize the experience of our users, a belief that is shared by GameStop and one that has played an integral role in establishing the company as the premier video game retailer for consumers. We are excited for GameStop to become our preferred video game retail partner in the U.S. and leverage their high-traffic retail locations and significant web presence to further merge gaming and crypto fans.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

GameStop and FTX US want to work together on a number of fronts to expand the market reach of both businesses through strategic collaboration. These will comprise online marketing efforts, in-store promotions, and loyalty rewards using FTX US gift cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
