The Dubai Mall's Etisalat showroom will duplicate itself in the metaverse. The prototype was on display at the Gitex event, which is still going on at the Dubai World Trade Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening of a store in the metaverse\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and enabling people to digitally shop from it will be a significant leap in terms of technology and resources, according to Abdul Mateen Mavad, Director of Infosys Technologies UAE. Virtual reality and touchscreen technologies are two ways to access the virtual shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mavad explains the project as follows<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irrespective of where a potential customer is, they will be able to access, navigate, book orders, and avail integrated services. What would be available by going to a mall physically, will soon be available at home.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Mavad also mentioned that the VR glasses<\/a> and touchpads allow for real-life-like interactions with other consumers in the store. These enable customers to move around and navigate the store exactly like they would in a real one. They can interact with one another through the integrated interactivity of the metaverse store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another notable aspect of the renovation is the addition of accessibility. A QR code will be sent to the user through SMS after they have placed an order on the metaverse. They will be able to pick up their purchases from any kiosk in any Etisalat store around the UAE by scanning this QR code. It's significant that the website project will soon be made accessible to users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Mateen claimed that Etisalat Stores are debating implementing the strategy to develop a metaverse retail environment. According to reports, Dubai<\/a> is making great strides in the metaverse.
