On October 14, Liverpool FC made a formal announcement stating that it had become the first Premier League team\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> to launch its virtual goods in the Meta Avatars Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans can add home and away jerseys from Liverpool FC (LFC) and items from the LFC label lifestyle line to their digital avatars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SVP for digital at Liverpool Football Club, Drew Crisp, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly excited to be the first Premier League club with our own Meta Avatars. This is another fantastic opportunity for our global fanbase to digitally engage with Liverpool Football Club and create their own individual club-coloured avatars.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Today, customers may buy the virtual clothing line from the Meta Avatars Store on Facebook<\/a>, Messenger, and Instagram. Currently, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom can access the Meta Avatars Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, this year's LFC merch will be offered in virtual reality. As the use of the metaverse increases, Meta thinks it will assist Liverpool FC in establishing a new source of income for the team. On June 20 of this year, the massive Metaverse company opened the Meta Avatars Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of media partnerships for Northern Europe at Meta, Jerry Newman, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
