A revised Ethereum roadmap was announced by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> in a string of tweets on November 5. In particular, the “The Scourge” phase of the Ethereum roadmap emphasizes ensuring trustworthy and impartially neutral transactions are included. As Ethereum shifts to proof-of-stake, it also aims to address the issues of centralization and censorship that emerged after the Merge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Verge will introduce “verkle trees,” which hold more information in a smaller proof and permit smaller node sizes. Now, the phase now includes “verification” to make using SNARKs for block verification quite simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, there are more precise milestones for each category. The involvement of quantum proofs will be more evident as a necessary component of the “endgame” protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
