Tiantian Kullander, the former Morgan Stanley trader<\/a> who co-founded digital-asset trading platform Amber Group, has died.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

According to the company's official website, Tiantian Kullander, popularly known as TT, the co-founder of Amber Group, tragically passed away in his sleep on November 23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tiantian, who was 30 years old, is survived by his wife and son. Along with co-founding the Hong Kong-based Amber Group, TT also founded KeeperDAO, a DeFi<\/a> protocol that enables users to trade, borrow, and stake assets with protection from miner value extracted (MEV) bots before returning them to the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TT also served on the board of the e-sports organization Fnatic. According to a formal statement\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> released by Amber Group, TT gave his all to the business, setting an excellent example with “his intellect, kindness, humility, diligence, and innovation. The business further stated: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“TT was a respected thought leader and widely recognized as a pioneer for the industry. His depth of knowledge, his willingness to collaborate and his desire to always help others benefited countless start-ups and individuals. His insights and creativity inspired many projects, people and communities.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Amber Group was founded in 2015 as a side project<\/a> by four traders, Michael Wu, Tiantian, Huo, and He, along with Thomas Zhu, a developer for Bloomberg LP, with the goal of investigating machine learning for trading. In 2017, they started doing this project full-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TianTian's previous positions were Emerging Markets Trader at Morgan Stanley and Structured Credit Trading at Goldman Sachs. He was named to Forbes Under 30 in 2019, a list that honors the most accomplished young leaders, entrepreneurs, and celebrities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Twitter<\/a>, the local community responded to the loss. The “business lost a young, intelligent and most importantly, a decent soul,” according to Arthur Cheong, founding partner of DeFiance Capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TT was described as “one of the most sincere, and most gifted guy” he knows by Tom C, co-founder of the automatic market maker (AMM) Charm Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
