A multi-signature wallet that supports BNB Chain, ETH, and Avalanche has been created by well-known Turkish rocker Haluk Levent and the nonprofit Ahbap to collect donations from the cryptocurrency community<\/a>. The donations have topped $460,000 thus nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aftermath of a devastating earthquake that claimed thousands of lives is still having an impact on Turkey. In response to this catastrophe, a number of cryptocurrency exchanges have launched donation drives to aid the devastated areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several exchanges have made their donations public, including Huobi (2,000,000 TRY), Bitfinex (5,000,000 TRY), Tether, and Bitget (1,000,000 TRY), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Binance recently announced that it would airdrop<\/a> $100 USD (1883 TRY) in BNB to customers in the area impacted by the earthquake in Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency declared in Turkey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The area has suffered severe damage as a result of the earthquake. In ten provinces that have seen the biggest seismic damage, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan <\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>has declared a three-month state of emergency. 3,549 people have died in Turkey as of right now, and 1,600 more deaths in Syria have been recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Erdogan declared a state of emergency in order to speed up rescue operations in the country's southeast during a speech that was broadcast on television. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
