Moonbirds creator Proof has announced a new NFT collection<\/a> to celebrate loyal collectors of its Moonbirds artworks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubbed Moonbirds10,000 digital works by 22 artists, including Beeple, Daniel Isles (aka Dirty Robot), Summer Wagner, Terrell Jones, and Michael Sidofsky\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, will be included in the most recent collection, Moonbirds: Diamond Exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only owners of Moonbirds who have achieved Diamond Nest rank by staking their NFTs with the company for a predetermined period of time would have access to such works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After roughly 10,000 artworks have been distributed, all Diamond Nesters who staked their Moonbirds during the first week of the nesting program's inauguration will undergo a similar rank preference voting and airdrop procedure, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Proof will host a celebration with Beeple for Moonbirds owners at NFT NYC on Thursday to celebrate the launch of the line. At the event, the artist will personally sketch one of his paintings from the Diamond Exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The change occurs as Proof and other NFT companies continue to look for ways to keep its NFT holders happy and interested. Proof faces a difficult battle in that regard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company canceled Proof of Conference, its significant annual conference, in February, citing a lack of interest. Since attending the conference had been promoted as one of the major benefits of owning a Moonbirds NFT, many Moonbirds holders were incensed by the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a key benefit of owning an Ape, Yuga Labs, the $4 billion company behind the top NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club<\/a>, grants access to ApeFest, an annual gathering of Bored Ape owners that has featured performances from well-known pop singers like Eminem and Snoop Dogg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to OpenSea data, the BAYC collection sales have dropped considerably, with a 0% dip in just one month. At the time of publication, the floor price plummeted by 12% while the trading volume fell by 60%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, Yuga released a line of expensive jewelry pieces created in collaboration with Gucci. These items are only available to owners of specific NFTs in Otherside, Yuga's metaverse game with an ape theme.
