Peckshield<\/a>, a blockchain analysis firm, reported that the hacker sent back $7.2 million worth of BNB\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> to Safemoon\u2019s treasury wallet in two transactions on April 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first transaction was 10,000 BNB ($3.4 million) and the second one was 11,804 BNB ($3.8 million). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safemoon confirmed the news on April 19 and said that the hacker had previously tested the transfer with 100 BNB. The protocol said it agreed to let the hacker keep 20% of the stolen funds for the sake of its community and project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
