By establishing payment channels between two parties, Bitcoin Lightning<\/a> enables unlimited transactions that only require the first and last transaction to be recorded on the blockchain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin Lightning can thus facilitate microtransactions and global payments for businesses and individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voltage and Google Cloud Collaboration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Voltage\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> offers Lightning as a Service (LaaS) solutions for payments and finance companies that wish to leverage the Lightning network for cross-border settlements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The network also provides an easy way to create and manage Bitcoin Lightning nodes without requiring technical expertise or infrastructure maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By deploying on Google Cloud,<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> Voltage can access the tech giant's world-class infrastructure and global network, increasing its hosting capacity and locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will allow Voltage users to create Bitcoin Lightning nodes anywhere in the world, with initial operations in Iowa, Netherlands, and Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voltage's founder and CEO Graham Krizek<\/strong> said that the partnership with Google Cloud shows that Lightning is going mainstream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
