On June 5, the company unveiled the device, surpassing rivals like Meta by years. The majority of customers find its starting price of $3,499 unaffordable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple unveiled the Vision Pro, a wearable computer that merges virtual and physical worlds through a three-dimensional user interface. The main input methods are gaze and hands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It runs on visionOS, the first spatial operating system in the world built on top of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>. The Vision Pro boasts an impressive high-resolution display system with over twice as many pixels as a standard 4k display. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spread across two panels, it features 23 million pixels and allows for unlimited app canvases. Despite its high price, the Vision Pro is anticipated to play a pivotal role in launching a new mixed reality (MR) ecosystem and establishing a market niche for the metaverse and digital currencies like Sandbox (SAND) and Decentraland (MANA) when more affordable devices become available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device also supports Apple Arcade gaming platform, incorporates Apple's first 3D camera<\/a> for spatial video and photographs. Therefore, It provides access to the App Store with millions of iOS and iPadOS games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To operate the device, users rely on EyeSight, a feature that prevents isolation by displaying their face on the headset. They can control it using their eyes, hands, and voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a battery life of two hours on a single charge, the headset is designed to handle high-performance tasks. It also incorporates cutting-edge security and privacy technology, including Optic ID, which uses iris analysis for secure device unlocking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vision Pro's dual-chip design ensures real-time content display in front of the user. The M2 chip delivers exceptional standalone performance, while the brand-new R1 chip handles input from 12 cameras, five sensors, and six microphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
