Chris Sheehan, NAB's executive for group investigations and fraud, specified only that the new blocks will impact &#8220;high-risk&#8221; platforms where &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/simon-callaghan-calls-for-joint-efforts-to-combat-crypto-scams.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scams <\/a>are more prevalent.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheehan explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThese scammers are part of organized, transnational crime groups. Increasingly, we\u2019re seeing them use cryptocurrency platforms to send stolen funds quickly and often overseas.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local reports, Sheehan indicated that NAB's crypto blocks could impact the Binance cryptocurrency exchange.
