The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)<\/a> is soliciting feedback on the proposed listing of the Ark Spot Bitcoin ETF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In anticipation of the deadline, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) published a notice inviting comments on the proposal to list the Ark Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agency issued the information to solicit feedback on the proposed rule change to list and trade ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF shares. This exercise aims to determine whether the proposed rule change should be approved or rejected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July 2023, the US SEC opened a comparable window for investors, traders, and the general public to submit their opinions on Bitcoin ETF filings. In the previous two months, the cryptocurrency market\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> has been buoyant due to the filings of significant asset managers such as Blackrock<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and Fidelity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

US SEC Postpones Determination On Spot ETFs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The US SEC has effectively postponed its decision on whether or not to permit the ETF, citing the public comment period. However, the delay occurred along anticipated lines. Initially, the Ark Invest filing deadline was set for Sunday, August 13, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, an analyst's prediction that the Commission could expedite the decision or alternative action regarding Ark Invest's filing was reported,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
