In order to further its blockchain\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> goals, Ubisoft has joined the Aleph.im network in the capacity of channel node operator, laying the groundwork for future collaboration with the distributed cloud platform. Ubisoft is a French video game producer with global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a core channel node operator, Ubisoft contributes to the aleph.im decentralised network <\/a>by staking, validating, and managing the decentralised network's transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All nodes are eligible to join the network, but only once they have staked a total of 500,000 ALEPH tokens does their status as a core channel node become active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with CNBC, aleph.im founder and CEO Jonathan Schemoul stated that his company's “primary mission is to make decentralised cloud services a reality.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt Ubisoft, we believe that Blockchain holds a key to the future of the videogame industry, bringing new possibilities for players and developers alike,\u201d explained Didier Genevois, a blockchain technology developer at Ubisoft Didier Genevois.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He went on to say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeyond NFTs themselves, the decentralized storage of their metadata appears to us as a determining factor in fulfilling the whole promise of true ownership. In this perspective, the exploration of the services offered by the Aleph.im decentralized network is particularly promising.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Ubisoft's exposure to the aleph.im blockchain network is believed to have increased as a result of the blockchain <\/a>network's participation in the company's Entrepreneurs Lab, which included ten other IT businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ubisoft, the company is investigating larger blockchain efforts in addition to its existing ones. A blockchain-based collectibles platform was created in June 2020 by the corporation to raise funds for the United Nations Children's Fund, also known as UNICEF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
