Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong,<\/a> formerly known as \u201cBitBoy,\u201d<\/em> has reportedly been arrested following a livestream outside the house of Carlos Diaz, a former business partner. Armstrong accused Diaz of having his Lamborghini and having links with the Houston mafia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armstrong, who has over 1.3 million subscribers<\/strong> on YouTube, posted on Twitter on Sept. 25 that he was \u201cgoing live soon from a very special location.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He did not reveal where he was going but hinted that it was related to his Lamborghini, which he had previously claimed was stolen by Diaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diaz is a consultant and nonfungible token (NFT) investor who is understood to have links to the Hit Network,<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> a blockchain-based social media platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armstrong and Diaz had worked together on some projects, but their relationship turned sour after a dispute over money and ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Less than an hour later, Armstrong was livestreaming himself at the residence of Diaz in Georgia. He went on a tirade, claiming that Diaz \u201cwanted to kill him\u201d<\/em> and alleging he has links with the Houston mafia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not scared of you, Carlos,\u201d<\/em> he shouted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At almost 19 minutes into the stream, Armstrong was met with local police, who turned up and asked if Armstrong had a weapon on him, which he denied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was then ordered to put down the phone, and the stream goes blank for the remaining 17 minutes, though audio can still be heard of a conversation between Armstrong and the police officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a listing on the Gwinnett County,<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> Georgia, Sheriff\u2019s Office, a Benjamin Charles Armstrong was booked on Sept. 25 at 9:11 pm local time<\/strong> and remains incarcerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diaz confirms the incident, and ZachXBT celebrates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

On Sept. 26, Diaz posted a confirmation that Armstrong had turned up at his house. He said he was not home then, but his security cameras captured everything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also said that he had nothing to do with Armstrong\u2019s Lamborghini and that he would take legal action against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blockchain sleuth \u201cZachXBT,\u201d <\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>who is not a fan of Armstrong, said, \u201cWill always celebrate one of the most notorious bad actors in crypto finally getting karma.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
