BlockFold, a decentralized finance firm based in Melbourne, has been purchased by Sequoia Capital-backed blockchain company Fireblocks<\/a> for an estimated $10 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this acquisition, Fireblocks will be able to offer more services than just custody services. Neither Fireblocks nor BlockFold have released any announcements in the media about the agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For projects involving defi and non-fungible tokens<\/a>, BlockFold, launched in 2022, offers smart contract creation, auditing, advising, testing, and security services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OpenSea, Hedera Hashgraph\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, and OpenZeppelin are a few of its customers. This deal was made short after Fireblocks introduced its non-custodial wallet-as-a-service for companies in various industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wallet is made to function on various devices and software, including iOS, Android, and web browsers.
