An open-source toolkit called the Polygon CDK is explicitly made for zkEVM Layer 2 solutions<\/a>. As a result of this announcement, developers now have access to the Universal Circuits, a flexible collection of zero-knowledge (ZK) circuits specially designed to develop decentralized apps (dApps). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandeep Nailwal, a co-founder of Polygon, expressed excitement for this integration and emphasized the connections between Manta Pacific, the Modular L2 with ZK-as-a-Service, and the growing Polygon ZK-powered Layer 2 ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that the network effects are growing steadily, promising users improved access to the unified blockspace. According to the release, Manta Pacific has taken the first step toward becoming a full mainnet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A full mainnet launch and integration with Celestia's data availability<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> (DA) to lower gas costs are just two details the platform says they will reveal shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CDK for Celo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The co-founder of Polygon, Nailwal, suggested on the Celo governance forum a few weeks earlier on September 21. He said, “We propose the Celo Ecosystem to employ the Polygon CDK for its L2 migration.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
