According to a recent statement, Greenfield presents a network architecture and economic model that gives users control over their data in Web3. It is important to note that Greenfield data is not kept directly on the blockchain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, the blockchain manages access rights, metadata, payments, and incentives. Storage providers keep the real files off-chain. With stated uplink rates of 30MB\/s and downlink speeds of 300MB\/s, this special architecture provides tremendous performance at the expense of decentralization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
