The Base network<\/a>, a component of the larger Coinbase ecosystem, has announced the introduction of Base Bootcamp. This rigorous eight-week course will teach traditional software engineers how to create smart contracts effectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Base Camp initiative attempts to increase public awareness of blockchain technology. According to the L2 network, there are now less than 30,000 on-chain developers, whereas more than 30 million people work in software development overall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program seeks to close this gap and create a new, open, international ecology. The Bootcamp will be hands-on and collaborative with the aid of seasoned engineers and mentors, giving participants the impression that they are learning alongside others rather than passively sitting in a lecture hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each cohort will only have 20 students so that everyone may receive individualized attention. Each participant will also get to know their mentor and have access to office hours if they need assistance troubleshooting a problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will also be granted access to a unique Discord channel to communicate with their peers, Coinbase developers, and mentors. Participants use instructional resources created by Base engineers to complete a real-world decentralized application<\/a> (dapp) for their final project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full-time professionals can participate in the program. It allows participants to work quickly and plan meetings with their mentors around their busy schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the L2 network, Base Bootcamp\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> is a learning experience and a means of advancing toward being a vital part of the creation of the on-chain future and the new internet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
