Arsenal F.C., a Premier League club\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, has partnered with Socios to introduce a new fan token that will allow fans to influence club decisions and gain access to team-related material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a Monday announcement from Chiliz, the Socios platform's unique cryptocurrency, the collaboration gives Socios the principal digital meeting place for Arsenal's followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arsenal fans will have “countless interaction possibilities” with the club if they acquire AFC Fan Tokens, according to Chiliz, including “the potential to influence the club in a series of interactive polls across a number of decisions every season.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFC Token was not given a specific debut date, however, Chiliz stated that it would be available shortly. Fans who have signed up for My Arsenal Rewards, the club's fan-centric rewards program<\/a>, can get a free AFC Fan Token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arsenal's marketing director, Peter Silverstone, said, “We are pleased to launch this agreement with Socios.com, which will bring our large global fan base even closer to the club.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs we can see from their ties with other big European teams, Socios.com is leading the way in blockchain in the sports industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
