Flipkart is launching a dedicated chain built with Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to scale its FireDrops Web3 loyalty program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polygon Labs revealed on Thursday that Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce business, intends to enhance FireDrops, its Web3.0 reward program, by integrating its Layer 2 chain, which is implemented via CDK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement was made a few months ago. Flipkart made reference to the partnership during Polygon Connect India. More than 3 million active wallets have joined the FireDrops Web3.0 loyalty program since its introduction, a noteworthy accomplishment for the crypto-friendly company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women make up a sizable portion of Flipkart and FireDrops users since they are typically associated with being shoppers. The new project with Polygon aims to create an Ethereum-based zero-knowledge<\/a> (ZK) L2 network that will support expansion in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developers may easily create and run ZK L2 applications on the Ethereum network using Polygon CDK. IDEX, Canto, Astar, OKX\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, and other high-profile projects are currently investigating the Polygon CDK tech stack. Per the published statement by Polygon, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“FireDrops envisions a future where a loyalty layer allows users who have a track record with a brand to unlock larger rewards, get early access to discount pricing for products in high demand, and allow for more interesting and creative ways for users to earn rewards from their favorite brands.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Benefiting from this partnership with a specialized blockchain are minimal transaction fees, a dedicated blockspace, and an optimized onboarding process, among other tailored services that Flipkart can provide to its clientele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the year, the well-known online retailer Hang, a comprehensive customer relationship-building platform, released FireDrops 2.0 on the Polygon blockchain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significantly, the purpose of the loyalty program was to transform consumers' perceptions of brands when they shop online. Incentives and awards were implemented to increase user motivation, engagement, and loyalty, largely in the form of non-fungible tokens<\/a> (NFTs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ultimate goal of the Flipkart loyalty program is to enhance the conventional shopping experience for customers. Naren Ravula, VP, Head of Product Strategy and Deployment at Flipkart said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
