Futureverse declared on X (formerly Twitter) that Warner Bros<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>. Discovery and Readyverse Studios have partnered to distribute the Ready Player One franchise exclusively in the metaverse and throughout Web3. Furthermore, at the discretion of Cline, Readyverse shall retain sole Web3 rights to any forthcoming intellectual property (IP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Farah stated that discussions have commenced with major studios and IP rights holders and that the studio is close to determining collaboration opportunities with Readyverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Readyverse, according to the announcement by Futureverse, will “champion the principles of the open metaverse.” Futureverse defines interoperability, security, decentralization, community-owned infrastructure, and provable digital ownership<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web3 platforms established the Open Metaverse Alliance in 2022 to safeguard the metaverse's adherence to democratic principles, decentralization, transparency, and inclusivity. Prominent Web3 entities founded the organization, including Animoca Brands, Dapper Labs, Decentraland, and The Sandbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
