Furthermore, the capability of generating dialogue should facilitate the development of automated scripts and routines for these characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-personas-in-advertising-and-imitation\">Personas in advertising and imitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Regrettably, as the team notes in its paper, developing these automated systems involves ethical considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe ethical concerns of this work center on the possibility of automatically impersonating an existing person, rather than the intended use case of fictional characters.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, the experimental system developed by the researchers can be utilized theoretically to generate personas for marketing products and services to existing individuals.
