A Reuters report dated February 12 stated that Trecanni ceased to serve as the CEO of Metaco, the Swiss company he established in 2015. At the time of publication, Trecanni's LinkedIn page indicated that he departed from the firm in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ripple paid\u00a0$250 million<\/strong>\u00a0to acquire Metaco in May 2023 to expand its custody, issuance, and settlement services for tokenized assets. A Ripple spokesperson speaking to reporters stated :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A federal magistrate ruled in July 2023 in favor of Ripple, <\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>granting summary judgment, and determined that the XRP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
