Additionally, Crimson Sandstorm established a connection between the assaults and Iran, Emerald Sleet found a link with North Korea, and Forest Blizzard linked Russia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to OpenAI, the groups attempted to utilize GPT-4 for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Studying satellite communication and radar technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Debugging code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting phishing campaigns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Translating technical papers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eluding malware detection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They also attempted to use GPT-4 to research companies and <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/binance-and-interpol-join-forces-to-boost-cybersecurity.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cybersecurity tools<\/a>. Deactivation of the accounts occurred immediately after their detection.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It disclosed the revelation as the organization enforced a comprehensive prohibition on state-backed cyber groups employing AI products.
