Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan is releasing a new comic anthology series as NFT<\/a>s, the\u00a0tokenized comics will come with exclusive digital goodies.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Method Man and New York-based artist Alex Smetsky\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> have signed unique artwork inspired by Killa Beez for the first release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Killa Beez is the moniker given to the Wu-Tang Clan's collection of rappers. They've released two compilation albums together, The Swarm in 1998 and The Sting in 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tokenized comic book will also include Method's previously unreleased music, as well as a 3D digital movie depicting Tical World's creation story. A gold VIP card for Tical Athletics, Method Man's sports clothing company, is among the other extras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comic is based on Dapper Labs' Flow blockchain, which is also home to the hugely successful CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shots NFTs.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tical World isn't Method Man's first attempt into the crypto world. C.R.E.A.M. Finance, a decentralized lending system, tweeted its new jingle in November 2020: a slick rap rhythm set to Wu-C.R.E.A.M. Tang's featuring Method Man's distinctive vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video has 5,072 views on YouTube, and Method hasn't commented on how well it's doing on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Tical World isn't the only comic universe getting the NFT treatment. Marvel Comics<\/a> announced in June that it would enter the NFT field with a range of digital collectibles, including sculptures, 3D models, and collectibles, in collaboration with NFT platform VeVe, which had previously collaborated with rival DC Comics on the DC Bombshells collection of NFT statuettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first official Marvel NFT release is a set of digital sculptures of Spider-Man that range in price from $40 to $400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
