The United States government invited OpenAI's CEO<\/a> Sam Altman, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Alphabet's CEO Sundar Pichai, and Nvidia's founder and CEO Jensen Huang to join the Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board after its formation of an advisory board tasked with stifling the unfolding AI ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group must collaborate with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security upon acceptance.\u00a0They must ensure the secure operation of artificial intelligence and its myriad of tools. These U.S. technology titans are tasked with advising on implementing AI in critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequently, they would be required to consistently furnish the Department of Homeland Security with suggestions for protecting the nation and its citizens against AI-driven assaults, with a specific focus on power-grid operators, transportation, and manufacturing sectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kathy Warden of Northrop Grumman and Ed Bastian of Delta, the governor of Maryland and the mayor of Seattle, are also members of the group. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will preside over the AI bloc. The group's initial meeting is slated to take place in May, followed by quarterly meetings after that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including AI firm executives such as Altman, Nadella, and others on this board could facilitate the government's intended revolution of the AI ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
