A new recommendation from the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety<\/a> Authority in the United Arab Emirates forbids using farms to mine cryptocurrencies. Farmers cannot be used for cryptocurrency mining, as the advice clearly states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to officials, this is a “misuse of the farm for purposes other than its intended use.” Farmers who are found to be involved in these operations risk fines of up to $2,722 (10,000 dirhams in the UAE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Arab Emirates has established itself as a country that supports Bitcoin mining\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, even despite this particular limitation.
