As The Wall Street Journal \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>reported, a Microsoft spokesperson attributed the recent Crowdstrike failure to a 2009 regulatory agreement between Microsoft and the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spokesperson asserted that Microsoft consented to grant external security developers the same level of access to interact with the software as Microsoft, which would facilitate the existence of critical flaws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
