“The Browser enables users to seamlessly transition between messaging and website viewing, thereby integrating news consumption with communication,” stated Pavel D”rov, CEO of Telegram, in a post on July 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Telegram platform users can establish a web server with their website and make it accessible on The Open Network through TON Sites<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the interim, Telegram disclosed its Mini App store, which it had previously indicated would be operational by the conclusion of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users of the Telegram platform can now send “Stars” to their”conta”ts, which are units of the Mini App payment system.

Mini Apps are utilized by over 500 million of Telegram's 950 mTelegram'srs on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamster Kombat, a four-month-old application on Telegram, has recently surpassed 300 million participants and is one of the most popular applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Hamster Kombat<\/a>, a crypto game, players swipe a hamster to accumulate tokens and enhance their virtual crypto exchange. Telegram, according to the company, is the third-fastest program to reach 150 million players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Telegram-based application that has gained significant popularity is Catizen, a social entertainment platform that utilizes Web3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement issued on July 23, Durov reported that Catizen has accumulated 26 million players since its launch in March and has generated $16 million in in-app purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately $160,000 of this sum has been allocated to rescue stray animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The native cryptocurrency of The Open Network, Toncoin (TON), has experienced a 467% increase to $6.78 over the past year, as indicated by CoinGecko data. Hamster Combat and Catizen are among the applications that utilize Toncoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
