The Arbitrum Foundation <\/a>has joined forces with Ubisoft and Sequence to launch a new game called ‘Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.'<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new game is an endeavor by the Arbitrum Foundation, Sequence, and Ubisoft Labs to enhance “Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix,” it is constructed on the Arbitrum blockchain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ubisoft created the video game series “A Blood Dragon Remix” for Netflix, the platforms said. The new game will leverage the Arbitrum blockchain for its first activation and core, utilizing the platform's scalability and user onboarding technologies<\/a>, according to the announcement made on August 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blockchain toolset from Sequence will also be used in the game. Well-known figures from blockbuster games like Beyond Good and Evil, Rayman, and Assassin's Creed will appear in G.A.M.E. Ubisoft Labs' Nicolas Pouard said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With Arbitrum's supercharged blockchain infrastructure and Sequence's full web3 stack as the foundation, Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E. is poised to be a groundbreaking player-driven project” <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The launch on Arbitrum allows users to shape the game's story, gameplay, and side experiences. Nina Rong, head of ecosystem development<\/a> at Arbitrum Foundation, added that the collaboration will spark further growth for the blockchain network's growing gaming ecosystem. Rong noted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It's exciting to see leading gaming studios, like Ubisoft, look to Arbitrum to support their ambitious community-driven project \u2014 a notable step towards increased adoption and accessibility in the industry. Arbitrum's gaming ecosystem continues to flourish, and an increased focus from legacy studios will only expedite that growth” <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Arbitrum Foundation introduced a $215 million incentive package in June 2024 with the goal of promoting the development of gaming on Arbitrum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program aims to give 225 million ARB to leading game creators\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> who are expanding on the network. Top Arbitrum games are Rumble Racing Star, GOAT Gaming, GombleGames, Treasure, and Crypto Unicorns, according to Dapp Radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
