Storj announced on August 20 that the two platforms are working together to develop cloud storage\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and distributed computing solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valdi, an on-demand AI compute provider recently acquired by Storj, and Cudo, the parent company of CUDOS and an Nvidia cloud partner, are involved in the partnership with CUDOS. Storj CEO Ben Golub stated:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, we're creating a powerful platform that sets a new standard for scalable services that are a cost-effective and high-performance alternative to hyperscalers like Amazon for enterprises with a rapidly growing, high volume of data and rigorous standards for performance, security and sustainability.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Storj and CUDOS intend to use their partnership to add multi-petabyte storage capacity to the chain. The systems will use NVIDIA's H100 and H200 CPUs in addition to Storj's solutions to assist the growing AI market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program aims to offer developers and organisations scalable and affordable solutions in the compute and storage domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storj's Competitors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The current agreement between Storj and cunoFS, a software solution <\/a>developed by PetaGene, comes after that with CUDOS.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This joint effort aims to enhance AI and video workflows, allowing creative professionals to benefit from scalable, secure, and cost-effective file storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arweave and Filecoin are two of Storj's rivals in the decentralised cloud storage market. Another platform that offers decentralised storage solutions is AIOZ Network, whose W3S gives developers and companies access to a web3 storage network<\/a> that is S3-compatible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DePIN provides the electricity for the AIOZ Network. A recent report states that the DePIN market has seen a notable increase in investment for projects in its early stages, such as the cryptocurrency project IoTeX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
