The layer-1 blockchain network Aptos, which uses the proof-of-stake<\/a> consensus method, will partner with the non-fungible token marketplace Rarible to accomplish a goal that the blockchain refers to as a “game-changer” for both platforms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rarible's FAQ page states that Aptos has not yet been incorporated, despite its current support for networks like Ethereum, Base, and Celo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The marketplace has also made vague references to a potential partnership with Aptos on its social media pages<\/a>, though the specifics are yet unknown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There has been an extraordinary spike in activity on the Aptos network since the announcement of the potential alliance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Aptoscan data, the number of daily transactions on the blockchain almost reached 144 million on August 14. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the cause of this spike is still unknown, there has been a noticeable increase in on-chain activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days before Tether announced that its US dollar-pegged stablecoin\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> (USDT) would shortly be accessible on the Aptos network, there was a sharp increase in activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
