An announcement made on August 27 states that Flare, the blockchain for data platform, will benefit from developers having access to cross-chain security via zero-knowledge proofs\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> thanks to Polyhedra's integration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The integration happened when the Polyhedra Network community approved a request to connect LayerZero's decentralized validator network, zkBridge, to Flare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developers may now use ZK proofs technology to create and implement effective cross-chain apps<\/a> with the release of zkBridge DVN on Flare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The utilization of zero-knowledge technology, or zkSNARKs, by zkBridge for multi-chain relay, block header verification, and consensus is essential to interoperability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A system that provides a two-layer recursive proof environment makes proof generation and verification quick and affordable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-chain verification of transactions from many blockchains into a single proof is made possible via batching. With zkBridge, decentralized apps<\/a> running on Flare can now obtain data from other chains or networks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this scenario, developers can create cross-chain decentralized apps (dApps) for DeFi, such as perps, trading, and prediction markets.\u00a0Flare co-founder Hugo Philion stated:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
