The partnership's objective is to expedite the adoption of Web3 technology<\/a> in the Asian and global markets, as indicated by a press release that was provided to Cointelegraph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The merger of Kaia and Finschia, which was initially approved on Feb. 15, will be concurrent with the collaboration, which will concentrate on digital finance, content creation, and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finschia is a blockchain platform that was created by Line Tech Plus, a subsidiary of the Japanese messaging company Line. Line Tech Plus is primarily dedicated to the provision of digital services to Line's user base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Merger Implications and Partnership Specifics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is intended to advance plans in the digital Asian market by supporting the Kaia\u2013Finschia merger to establish “the largest Web3 governance platform in Asia,” as stated in the press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe integration aims to create a highly competitive mainnet ecosystem by combining the strengths of Klaytn and Finschia […] and will work with partners like Kakao and LINE to drive ecosystem expansion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

According to Ben El-Baz, the managing director of HashKey Global, the partnership is indicative of a “common vision” to advance the digital asset ecosystem and work towards innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During an interview with Cointelegraph, El-Baz disclosed that “a growing number of Asian tech giants, such as Line and Kakao,” had been increasing their investments in Web3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mainnet Launch and Kaia Rebranding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kaia initiated its mainnet on August 29 in order to offer applications similar to Telegram on the social messaging platform Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kakao and Line, two of Asia's most prominent social messaging applications, established the Ethereum Virtual Machine-based layer-1 blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaia Wave, a program that enables developers to develop mini-decentralized applications<\/a> that operate on Line, was also disclosed by the rebranded blockchain in conjunction with the mainnet launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnership between HashKey and Catizen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Aug. 19, HashKey Group partnered with the Telegram Mini App, Catizen, becoming the group\u2019s first Web3 partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration enabled the licensed HashKey Global exchange\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> to provide Catizen users with regulatory \u201ccompliant and reliable digital asset services.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
