OSL announced a partnership with Pentagram, a global design firm, to lead a “strategic brand refresh” in a press statement<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the relationship is to assist OSL in expanding its reach as it continues to grow its services in the digital asset area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pentagram has over 50 years of experience developing brand identities and is well-known for its work with brands including Citibank, Mastercard, Reddit, and Slack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consultation will help OSL connect with its target audience<\/a> more successfully and establish a brand presence that stands out in a crowded market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Tan, OSL's Chief Marketing Officer, described the partnership as the “creative force” required to increase the company's global presence, even though specifics of the changes are still unknown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tan saw the partnership as a catalyst to “spark fresh ideas” and establish deeper connections with a wider audience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OSL was granted a license by the Securities and Futures Commission in December 2020, making it one of the two authorized digital asset exchanges in Hong Kong.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to being the first cryptocurrency exchange with a license in the area, OSL made history by being the first cryptocurrency company to be included in MSCI Hong Kong's market-cap weighted index\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, a prestigious compilation of the top businesses in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This rebranding follows the SFC's March warning about phony websites pretending to be Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchanges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 4, the SFC warned the public about dubious websites that imitated OSL Digital Securities Limited and another platform called HSKEX, which purported to represent Hash Blockchain Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users who had trouble withdrawing money reported phony websites<\/a>, and the SFC's Suspicious Virtual Asset Trading Platforms Alert List was notified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OSL has expanded its range of supported digital assets by adding the SOL token of the Solana network to its services for professional investors as part of its continuous expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
