The new payment feature will be available in Electra's stores “very soon,” according to the billionaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an estimated net worth of $15.4 billion, Salinas Pliego, Mexico's third-richest perso<\/a>n, has been a long-time backer of Bitcoin. He announced in November that he will invest 10% of his wealth in the largest cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The businessman recently stated that his Banco Azteca would be the first Mexican bank to accept Bitcoin in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
