According to DefiLlama, PancakeSwap's total value locked as of Sept. 20 was approximately $1.72 billion, a decrease from the all-time peak of $7.16 billion on May 4, 2021. PancakeSwap's TVL was approximately $2.42 billion on March 30, 2024, and has since declined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the protocol has published its v4 white paper, a $500,000 developer program that is intended to attract top tie builders in anticipation of the official launch of v4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PancakeSwap is currently hosting a v4 Hookathon on Dorahacks as part of this program. Submissions are open until Sept. 30.
