Following its registration as an official crypto service provider<\/a> in Argentina, Binance Exchange has declared that its mobile and web applications are now “fully accessible” to users in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binance announced the incorporation into the Argentine virtual asset service provider (VASP) registry of the National Securities Commission (CNV) in an announcement shared with Cointelegraph. The exchange stated that this is its twentieth registration with regulators worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is after its registrations in Indonesia, India, and Kazakhstan. On September 9, Indonesia's Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency granted Binance subsidiary Tokocrypto its official license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users in Argentina have complete access to Binance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The announcement emphasized that the registration enables the company to provide its complete range of services to consumers in Argentina. Binance has announced that its mobile application and website are now “completely accessible to users in Argentina.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the announcement, Binance's president of Latin America, Guilherme Nazar\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, stated that the company favors “forward-thinking regulation” and is confident that it will safely guarantee the industry's continued adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The executive also stated that the company regards Argentina as a significant market. Nazar elaborated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArgentina is a key market for Binance. We will continue to work closely with the authorities to develop the industry in the most sustainable and secure way for the benefit of the crypto community and society as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The executive emphasized that compliance is a critical component of its strategy. Nazar stated that they think this would enable them to make a meaningful contribution to establishing local and global standards for user protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CZ's Release from Prison<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the interim, Changpeng Zhao, the former CEO and founder of the crypto exchange, has recently been released from a United States prison. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The erstwhile CEO of Binance was released on September 27 after serving a four-month sentence for anti-money laundering violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite Zhao's release from prison<\/a>, Binance's former CEO is still prohibited from administering or operating the exchange.
