The objective of a groundbreaking Africa-European partnership is to provide 700 African Doctor of Philosophy (PhDs) with training in artificial intelligence (AI)<\/a> within the next decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, the inaugural intake of this program will be one-of-a-kind and composed exclusively of women. CORE AI\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, a research partnership that unites institutions from both continents, is the driving force behind this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program will enroll 100 African women with PhD aspirations in AI annually, with the inaugural all-female cohort commencing in February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundamental principle of AI is to support female researchers, particularly in fields with low female representation, such as AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
