The service is accessible across nine blockchain networks. The Uniswap team declared on October 23 that its permissionless cross-chain bridge was operational, advancing the DEX protocol's ability to facilitate cross-chain exchanges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the announcement, this in-app Uniswap bridging capability is powered by the cross-chain intents protocol, Across Protocol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users of Uniswap can now conduct cross-chain transactions\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> across nine networks thanks to the launch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These consist of ZKSync, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon. Base, Zora, Blast, OP Mainnet, and World Chain are additional networks with early support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only native assets, such as ETH on the Ethereum network or ARB on the Arbitrum network, are supported by the feature. Stablecoins will also be able to bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of functionality, users will use their Uniswap wallet and interface to conduct cross-chain transactions directly. Dune data indicates that over six million Uniswap users have multi-chain access<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cross-chain bridge swaps are still scarce, though. The goal of the Uniswap Labs team is to raise this figure considerably. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UniChain, a new layer-2 chain<\/a> aimed at DeFi and cross-chain liquidity, was recently introduced by Uniswap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UniChain, revealed on October 10, intends to assist the cryptocurrency market<\/a> in resolving DeFi's issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
