On February 13, a BNB whale rated 1 by this data service purchased approximately 140 billion Shiba Inu tokens, according to analytics released by the @WhaleStatsBSC Twitter account, which gives data on the top 1,000 rich list of Binance Smart Chain (BSC) whales.
139.9 billion SHIB was added to the system
According to a recent tweet from @WhaleStatsBSC, the top BNB whale has purchased 139,929,254,883 Shiba Inu, which is the equivalent of $4,232,859 in fiat currency.
Last week, there were reports on several large-scale SHIB purchases. A new SHIB whale, as WhaleStats dubbed it, purchased a massive 3,457,477,154,937 Shiba Inu tokens and returned $115,998,358 on the day of purchase. Moreover, numerous whales increased their holdings by 36.8 billion SHIB.
BSC whales are buying SHIB in large amounts
In another tweet, @WhaleStatsBSC released a list of the top 10 most purchased cryptocurrencies in the last 24 hours by the top 1,000 Binance Smart Chain (BSC) whales.
SHIB is at the top of the list. Bitcoin BEP (BTCB) is the fourth most frequently acquired coin for them, followed by BNB in fifth and Ethereum in tenth.
Furthermore, according to a list released on the analytics platform’s website, another joke cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, is the eighth greatest holding for these whales.
SHIB is the largest token by USD value among Ethereum whales
SHIB has also become the largest token by USD value held by the 1,000 major Ethereum whales, according to WhaleStats, who favour ETH and ERC-20 tokens over BSC.
These whales currently own 54,640,355,419,904 SHIB worth $1,596,262,985, accounting for 16.65% of their total portfolio.
The most widely traded token is LINK, whereas the most widely owned token is UNI.
