Top Shot, Dapper Labs’ popular pro-basketball NFT collectibles, will be live at the basketball games, three of its exclusive NFTs will be minted to commemorate the upcoming NBA Summer League games this weekend.
The tokens will be the first Top Shot NFTs, called “moments,” to be made available for exclusive purchase from a physical place, and they will be offered at an NBA game for the first time.
On August 8, 9, and 10, the special NFTs will memorialize a highlight from each game. A minimum of 1,000 copies will be coined for each edition, with the actual number of moments created depending on demand. Each fan is only allowed to buy ten tokens every day.
Matchgoers can pre-order the yet-to-be-created tokens for $5 each from a Top Shop kiosk in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. After the NFTs have been created, they will be transferred to buyers’ Top Shot accounts.

The first round of moments, while intriguing, appear unlikely to become significant collector’s items in the future. The NFTs will mostly feature newly drafted rookies and minor league players because the event will showcase off-season games.
Top Shot is currently the second-most popular NFT platform in terms of both sales and active traders, according to DApp Radar, with roughly 109,600 Top Shot Marketplace users executing 675,350 transactions in the last 30 days — despite the fact that the total trade account is down more than 53% monthly.
The average daily value of Top Shot trading during the last month, according to CryptoSlam, has been around $700,000.
