Spot On Chain reports that Buterin’s most recent transaction is the latest in a series of ETH deposits to centralized exchanges over the past ten days. Since September 15, the blockchain analytics platform estimates that Buterin has deposited an estimated 2,421 ETH ($3.94 million).
The platform detailed 321 ETH in deposits made to Kraken between September 15 and September 19. Buterin reportedly deposited 1,700 ETH to Bitstamp in multiple transactions between September 17 and September 20 and 500 ETH to Paxos on September 19.
Coinscreed has independently verified several of these transactions using the wallet profiler of Nansen 2 beta. Blockchain data also reveals a transfer of 2,000 ETH ($4.9 million) from a wallet associated with the Ethereum co-founder to the address carrying out these transactions.
Spot On Chain, reports that the source of the 2,000 ETH transaction is a “better-known address” belonging to Buterin (0xD04daa65144b97F147fbc9a9B45E741dF0A28fd7)Â than the middle address(0x5567A4bE2D5b77F5Fd870f99Ed9167Feab8831B1) that has been transferring funds to exchanges.
Quite recently, there was a report of a, 600 ETH ($1,000,000) transaction from the Vitalik.eth address, which was also identified by on-chain monitoring platforms.
