Johnny Depp, the famous actor, is poised to issue a series of NFTs featuring his friends and heroes in artwork he made himself.
The “Never Fear Truth” collection of 11,111 non-fungible tokens is about to become live. The NFTs are digital collectibles that feature portraits of friends and heroes produced with Depp’s artwork that was animated to create the digital collectibles.
Johnny Depp was quoted as saying:
“I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends, and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.”

The special NFT collection was announced to thunderous cheers from the NFT community and collectors yesterday, with demand for access to the discord channel forcing a brief outage.

The discord channel now has over 20,001 members eager to learn more about this unusual collection. Depp, Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Hunter S. Thompson, Heath Ledger, Tim Burton, and Lily-Rose Depp are among those represented in the collection. The NFT series also features Depp’s late dog Mooh and Bunnyman, a fictional character developed by his son.
With well-defined lines and brilliant colors, the artwork is a blend of pop and street art. Depp reveals some details about his creative process:
“I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire.”
Each NFT includes a high-resolution physical edition that may be redeemed for the cost of manufacture and delivery once by the owner. 25% of the proceeds from the sale of NFT will be donated to various charities supported by Depp and the heroes featured in the collection.
The Never Seen Before website has gone live, and the NFTs will be supported for secondary sales via the Never Seen Before marketplace Rarible. Due to high demand, a raffle will be held to determine who will be able to buy the NFTs. The raffle will end on February 9, 2022, and the NFTs will be available for purchase to raffle winners on February 17, 2022.
10,000 NFTs will be offered for public purchase, with Depp keeping 1,111 to distribute to fans and organizations.
