Certik Ventures, the investment branch of CertiK, has made a substantial, multimillion-dollar investment in promoting new initiatives in the industry intending to increase the adoption of Web3.

CertiK Extends Web3 Security Reach with $45M and Law Enforcement Partnerships
This action follows CertiK’s official announcement of establishing its venture subsidiary in May 2024. The venture division will allocate resources to strategic investments in rapidly evolving blockchain projects while capitalizing on CertiK’s extensive blockchain security expertise.
Additionally, CertiK has maintained a close relationship with law enforcement, sharing evidence related to alleged crimes and other discoveries obtained through Know Your Customer verifications and its involvement with the largest industry participants.
CertiK recently identified a security vulnerability in LI.FI, a cross-chain transaction aggregator. As per the notice posted on the Cybers Alerts channel, numerous suspicious transactions have been identified, and users are recommended to terminate them. Meanwhile, the hacker successfully withdrew over $9.7 million, most of the funds being crypto stablecoins. Additionally, the hacker has continued to convert USDC and USDT into ETH.
