Bistroo, founded in the Netherlands, is one of the first foodtech firms to use cryptocurrency as a payment method. It also developed a native coin and a cryptocurrency enthusiast community.
The Bistroo team, a peer-to-peer food delivery ecosystem, has made an official announcement that it will begin taking cryptocurrency as a payment mechanism.

Starting in October 2021, all businesses on the platform will be able to accept payments in the flagship cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin, the site’s native asset (BNB).
Bistroo’s strategic fundraising round ended in May 2021, with a total of $8,000,000 raised. The corporation hastened its foray into crypto with the help of a slew of high-profile investors.
Bas Roos, Bistroo’s CEO and co-founder, emphasizes the significance of this announcement for business processes and platform marketing:
Bistroo is on a mission to set ourselves up on the global stage with our unique business model. The future is moving towards a protocol economy where parties can directly interact with each other, and Bistroo is taking the first steps in that direction, offering a better value proposition for the food ordering platform market. Enabling our users to transact in crypto is an integral part of that journey.
