BNB Chain has unveiled an incubator program dubbed “innovation incubator” which is set to target European -based Web3 startups and developers.
BNB Chain, which powers the Binance cryptocurrency exchange and BNB, has announced its newest development-focused project with a focus on European developers.
Program participants in the three-week online “innovation incubator” must have at least one essential member who is based in the European Union (EU). Those chosen for the program are mentored on tokenomics design and Web3 marketing tactics by business experts and BNB Chain specialists.
Throughout the continent, the incubator will organize private meet-ups in places including Lisbon, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Warsaw, and London.
The network is eager to help European Web3 firms that take into account both accessibility and scalability in order to push for more adoption, according to Zoe Wei, the senior business director at BNB Chain.
“Our objective is to guide European builders in making early commitments to these fundamentals in order to grow large user bases in the long term.”
At least 17 regionally active groups are taking part in the incubator to help the builders. One of them is Jump Crypto, which asserts that community knowledge-sharing will promote the development of DApps in the future.
A spokesman with Jump Crypto stated:
“Crypto is a community, and we believe that knowledge sharing and collaboration fosters a stronger, more resilient, and more advanced crypto ecosystem overall.”
Participants also receive on-chain rewards, such as a one-month 100% gas fee bonus and a “strong referral” to the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program offered by BNB Chain.
About the Innovation incubator program
Developers can submit applications from October 10 through October 23. The three-week incubation phase runs from November 21 to December 15.
The European incubator is BNB Chain’s most recent effort to encourage developers and spread Web3 knowledge. Recently, the ecosystem’s members will have access to Google Cloud services to aid with on-chain development thanks to the network’s substantial collaboration with Google Cloud.
In August, BNB Chain also collaborated with a Latin American educational platform to create a Web3 and blockchain course for the region’s tens of thousands of pupils.
After the network experienced a multi-million dollar cross-chain exploit on October 6, this most recent announcement was made.
Until validators could authenticate their statuses, the network temporarily stopped all deposits and withdrawals but was back online within hours.
