On July 19, Mudit Gupta, the CISO at Polygon Labs, announced on the X social media platform that the global outage did not impact the company. He also mentioned that the company employs Crowdstrike; however, it does not implement non-critical updates before evaluating them, which is one of the security measures it implements.
“A significant portion of the global IT infrastructure, such as airports, emergency services, and stock exchanges, is currently unavailable.” “The reason other organizations that support critical operations do not do the same is beyond my comprehension,” he concluded.
