With an estimated net worth of $15.4 billion, Salinas Pliego, Mexico’s third-richest person, has been a long-time backer of Bitcoin. He announced in November that he will invest 10% of his wealth in the largest cryptocurrency.
The businessman recently stated that his Banco Azteca would be the first Mexican bank to accept Bitcoin in the near future.
